Advertisement For My School

😀Mangapapa School😀

Today in Manaiakalani we were making advertisements for something that we like about our school on WeVideo.

We all were placed random groups so we could know what other people were capable of. So then we could learn from other people and get better at the things that they were better at.

The reason that I choose the school playgrounds was because that our playgrounds at school are a really nice part of the new build and how they keep kids entertained at lunch and morning tea breaks.

In our video WeVideo we had to include: A 30 second video, a voiceover, photos of your topic that you choose.  

I would really like some feedback on what parts you like about it and if we do it again what I could do better.

Postcard Fake Media

Today in Manaiakalani we had to buddy up with a partner and make a postcard for somewhere that they really wanted to go to. My partner Millan wanted to go to Fiji so here is me in Fiji showing off.  I really enjoyed learning how to make my photos look more realistic.   People don't like to share things online about themselves because other people could take their photos and make them their own.   People only like to share good parts of their life because they don't want other people to know what is bad and what is good in their life.

Is it Real or Fake?

Today in Manaiakalani we had to make a real or fake character using Unsplash and Remove Image Background.  We also learnt about what is  some media and what is fake that people put on media for people to actually believe. I would like some feedback on what I can do better and what would make this look amazing.  Using these two sites is quite easy to learn how to use. You shouldn't always believe what you see on the internet.

I found it hard to find the right images to make my character into life and make it look funny.

I hope you guys enjoyed my image I made.

We were learning about how to use Piktochart and how to spread the message through the use of media to reach the people.

I found it easy to copy everything from the board to my poster that I have made to spread the message.

I found it hard to pick the right colours to use to make it stand out so that people will read this.

I really enjoyed learning how to use Piktochart and hope that I can spread the idea of spread the use of this media to others.

Next time I need to remember what order to arrange it into for it to make more sense. I hope that you guys can give me some fed back on what I can do better or if you guys could read it easy.

We were learning about what types of media we have seen in the last 24 hours around town.

I found it easy to resize the pictures to the size that would fit into the spare space.

I found it hard to find the right pictures that me and Katie agreed on.

I really enjoyed seeing what media I had seen on the way to school and in the way home from school.

Next time I need to use my time well and concentrate during all of my time.

This session with Mr Fourie we were learning how to make a magic show/video on WeVideo.  This video includes some of my friends and me making thing disappear and reappearing.  I hope you like this video that I made, I know that there is a little mistake in the start. I didn't have lots of time to edit and make sure everything is all good.   If you have advice about this video then just leave a comment and positive, helpful information to improve my video.

Mr Krabs Lost ChromeBook!

 This week I am back doing code on scratch.  This game was very confusing to make and challenged my mind. It was also very hard to find where the code pieces went to make the scratch game work.  I really enjoyed making the game and using my imagination.

My game I made is about Mr Krab because he didn't look after his ChromeBook and then it disappeared.  So this is what his consequence was for not looking after.  So always to remember to look after your or someone else's device.  

One day I really hope that I will be better at coding so then my scratch game can look like Summers Blog Post.  My other step is to get my game completed.  I would like some feedback about how I could fix it or make it more interesting. 

If my game is not finished it will be soon.

Fixed Remix Game!

Have you ever used scratch?

Last week we re-coded Mr 4E Girls mess they made on his game.  

We were learning about how to use scratch and re-code a scratch game.  

I really enjoyed learning how to use fix a scratch game.

The hardest part of the re-coding was making sure to place the right code in the right place.

My favourite part was listening to the music at the end for a dance party.

Smart Comments

We were learning about smart comments and spam on your blog.
I found it easy to insert the photos me and Allix choose.
I found it hard to figure out what to put in the comments.
I really enjoyed making my own book.
Next time I need to use my time more wisely.

Sorting comments

We were learning about how to sort comments that are nice and mean.

I found it easy to duplicate the thumbs to put on the comments.
I found it hard to figure out which ones are nice and mean.
I really enjoyed learning about bad and good comments.
Next time I need to read the comments a bit better for my buddy to understand.

I found it easy to do the planning while my buddy was doing the Comic

I found it hard to think of what scenes to do.

Room 3&4 Tik Tok Challenge

We were learning about how to be a team and new dance moves.

I found it easy to learn the dance moves.

I found it hard to get the move in time with the music.

I really enjoyed dancing with some of my friends.

Next time I need to be there when they video the dance.

My Pepeha

We were learning about our Pepeha and how to pronounce it. 

I found it easy to insert the audio.

I found it hard to pronounce some of the words. 

I really enjoyed drawing my Pepeha.

Next time I need to know most of my words in my Pepeha.

Copyright Challenge

We were learning about copyright and what goes on the internet and what people allow their photos to go on for others to use.

I found it easy to find the right images to use that people have put on the internet.

I found it hard to pick the right photo for the idea in my head.

I really enjoyed making the photos the right size and seeing what I really like that I didn't know I did.

Next time I need to make sure everything is right and spelt right.

My shape Animation

We were learning about how to do animations.  I choose a turtle eating plastic because that is how they are going extinct.

I found it easy to rearrange the turtle into the spot I needed it in.

I found it hard to find the right picture to fit the scene.

I really enjoyed making the animation to fit the idea I had in my head.

Next time I need to add more slides to make it more interesting.

We were learning about what we did in lockdown.

I found it easy to write it down because the things I have written were in my mind good. 

I found it hard to put my words into sentences.

I really enjoyed seeing what others did in lockdown.

Next time I need to add more describing words.

My Extinct Animal

We were learning about extinct animals and what some extinct animals are.

I found it easy to find the right textures to use.

I found it hard to get the right shape of the animals body.

I really enjoyed making the animals and find out about things I never knew the animal had

Next time I need to make the animal look more relistic.

We were learning about how to use shapes of different sizes.   Also how to take care of a chromebook. 

I found it easy to  make the shape of the pet.

I found it hard to find the shape that works with my animal.

I really enjoyed making the animal because it showed me what I could make with shapes.

Next time I need to make my pet look the same as the picture.
